ABOUT MACKENZIE
I know what it feels like to be completely lost, but I've learned that there are other resources to access in order to live our best lives. You are the author of your own story, but sometimes we need someone else to look at what is going on in a loving and objective way in order to write the next chapter.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and pursued my Master's Degree from the University of Houston - Clear Lake after living in the Chicagoland area and obtaining my Bachelor's degree. I have worked in this field for 10+ years and worked with all ages, 4 and up. I started in an inpatient facility, moved to an advocacy center, and was lucky enough to help develop a program for adolescent victims of human trafficking. I have been in private practice for over 3 years now and feel as though I am on the right path.

I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is so important, and time needs to be taken in order to mesh various modalities in order to ensure the client receives the best care possible. Therapy is and should be a safe space to process whatever trauma, grief, feeling, or life transition one is going through. I aim to provide that.

Please reach out. I know therapy is hard enough, but we often drag our feet because it is intimidating to begin. You've got this.
